Shot with split crews at our contactless facility, this wonderful table-top campaign for The History Channel was pure magic.

Featured by Promax, this beautiful campaign combines both practical and VFX. The set, snow globes, miniatures, and even some of the falling snow are all shot practically. VFX was used afterwards to enhance the amount of snow falling inside the snowglobes.

To help make the miniatures feel larger than life, we shot them on a probe lens - allowing the camera to get within inches of the set.

Our team oversaw this campaign from shoot to finish, and knocked it out of the park every step of the way - from shoot, to edit, to VFX, to mix, to final grade.

This incredible campaign was filmed contactlessly in our re-designed studios.

All talent and crew were 100% contactless the entire shoot day - which means talent was alone in the studio, and our crew worked at isolated stations at our facility, controlling their equipment remotely: cameras, lights, sound, etc.

Being able to cycle talent in and out of our studios over 3 days was a dream, and a real validation of our workflow.

Shot practically in our contactless studios, these charming and festive ID’s bring The History Channel’s most fan-friendly shows to the Thanksgiving table. All the food was custom made by a top food stylist, and every show is incorporated into a specific part of the meal (a side, dish, a main, a dessert, etc).

Designed as a thank you to The History Channel’s fans, these spots are a tasty celebration of the network’s most cherished shows!

Shot practically in our contactless studios, these Tim Burton-esque Halloween IDs were designed specifically for The History Channel’s fans. Custom carved to be photo-realistic, these start of the art Hallows Eve Jack O’ Lanterns are masterpieces in and of themselves. Placed inside our dark forrest set, they are wonders to behold.

From the beginning, this campaign was designed to be throwback, nostalgic, and have an 80’s vibe to it (think Ghostbusters, Gremlins, Goonies, etc). That’s why shooting practically on a real set was a must. We were also heavily inspired by the new series The Dark Crystal on Netflix, which also does a great job of modernizing an 80’s show.

Our team did an amazing job overseeing this whole campaign - from shoot, to edit, to mix and then finishing grade.

This was another super fun shoot at our contactless studios - this time starring “Rugby” the wonder dog! Animal shoots are wonderful projects to film at our redesigned facility because we’re able to easily stagger shifts, and shoot them safely.

Our team did an amazing job handling this campaign from shoot, to edit, to final grade and mix. It was a team effort that came out great!

Filmed over a week at our contactless studios, this painstakingly crafted stop motion spot is a total gem - and one our whole team had a hand in.

Our lighting team lit the stage. Our art department sourced all the props. And of course our stop motion team did an incredible job with animation.

This was a truly special project. When SYFY asked us if we could build a cat city and dress cats up as Godzilla and other Kaiju monsters, we couldn't believe it. But they were serious. And then we seriously made it all happen, and had the time of our lives. Shot in our studio, this A-MEOW-ZING spot won a Clio, and a lot of love from Promax.

Gaming Throwback is a fantastic series. An ambitious long-form comedy with high profile talent, it’s a project that demanded a lot of attention both in front of and behind the camera. We built the sets, helped write the scripts, and finally shot the series multi-cam in our studio.

Overall, this was an awesome project that brought out the best in us.

This campaign was a massive success for Mondelēz and won a Reggie Award.

This longform show was another super fun project wth SYFY Wire. Shot multicam in our studio, we paid enormous attention to set design, especially vintage video gaming details. This was crucial to creating the proper mood for the cast and crew.

Ziwe is one of the most talented people we’ve ever had in the studio. When she asked if we’d help film the next season of her show, we of course said YES. There are few things as fun, and exciting, as working with someone you know is operating on another level.

It was no surprise to us these videos clocked in over a million views on Youtube and Twitter, and that the Insta version of her show took off during the pandemic.

Ziwe is a comic genius, and we can’t wait to see what does next on Showtime!.

We had a blast teaming up with The History Channel on this incredible Godfather spoof! The horse-head scene is famously iconic, so attention to detail was key. We matched framing, camera movement, and even use period accurate lenses.

Featured in the “Hot Spots” session at Promax (which reviews the best spots of the year), this loving tribute to The Godfather is one of our favorite projects ever.

This mixology spot is one of our faves with SYFY and Jackie. Designed to promote the new Predator movie, we built a set that matched the look and tone of an alien spaceship. It was a crazy suggestion on our part, but it was so fun.

Blending this practical set with a full wet bar was the perfect way to bring this “out of this world” mixology spot to life.

No surprise, this spot got a lot of love from Promax, as it should!

This tabletop campaign was perfect for our studio.

Shot multicam, we were able to give our post team more angles than just the classic “Tasty” overhead shot. And with detailed art direction, we were able to bang out 3 spots in a day, instead of one. In post, subtle VFX helped integrate content onto the mobile devices.

Animal spots are always amazingly fun, but puppy spots? Come on. This blew our minds. When SYFY Wire asked if we could make a predictions show about what may happen in Avengers Endgame, starring only puppies, we leapt at the chance. No surprise we had the time of our life filming this in the studio. And Promax loved it and made it a Hot Spot!

Few projects have given us as much joy as this Dunkirk spot for History.

To ground our interview to Nolan’s epic masterpiece, we shot in a historic basement and layered the set with WW2 props. We filmed on Imax covering Hasselblad lenses, and even graded our footage to match Dunkirk’s dark tones. Finally, we added a meticulous sound design that channels the film and brings the spot to life.

This show for SYFY Wire was a blast to work on! Using late night as our template, we created a gamer’s basement on our studio. And then setup a classic Nintendo 64 system for our host and pro gamer to compete on.

Watching them compete in Golden Eye, and chat about the life of a pro video game player, was fascinating.

This sweeping, talent driven campaign celebrates the contributions of women throughout history.

Inspired by Annie Leibovitz’s portraits, talent was filmed on backdrops created by her workshop.

Meaningful stories like these need to be told and retold, and we were so happy to help, in every way we could.

We loved partnering with Lifetime on this moving project filmed across the country.

We handled the NYC shoots with athletes (David Beckham, Carli Lloyd, etc) who are in the second half of the spot. Filmed across different sets, we took the LA shoots a step further and added extra cameras, giving editorial more angles to play with. Passing soccer balls back and forth with David Beckham is something we’ll never forget!

We’re extremely proud to have hosted Mass Appeal at our studios for some of their final interviews for “Wu Tang: Of Mics and Men”. This fantastic series has a very distinct look, which we helped recreate on our stage. We also provided production support for the reunion shoot on Staten Island that anchors the series.

Filmed over multiple days, this launch campaign for Project Runway was a huge hit with the fans and went viral. Scheduling conflicts meant we couldn’t film Heidi and Tim at the same time, so huge care was taken to make sure both shoots matched exactly. Keeping the sets loose and fun was key to helping talent relax and feel spontaneous.

For this doc piece, we had the honor of working with Karisma, an inspiring local dance teacher and mentor in Brooklyn. She has a special bond with her students, and a huge impact on her community. To give the campaign the intimacy it deserves, we shot in a loose, handheld style. To showcase what they mean to the neighborhood, we filmed Karisma and her kids in front of the storefronts and murals they love.

After rocketing across Facebook and getting 14 million total views, these spots opened a lot of eyes. They tell important stories about real life behind bars, while also being entertaining and highly sharable.

This epic shoot trailer for the new season of Ancient Aliens was shot in LA in a building that was part of the Manhattan Project. Inspired by Fox’s “Fringe”, we deployed our cameras in similarly off-balance ways - from inside the table, above, and even peeking around corners. Everything is meant to feel disruptive, unexpected, and off-kilter. At nearly 2mins in length, this spot gives us a chance to give fans a one-of-a-kind experience.

Designed to promote New Year’s Day and Valentine’s Day, our goal with these spots was to create a modern version of the couples interviews in “When Harry Met Sally”.

For a spellbinding evening, we got to hang out with Ashanti as she recorded a Chistmas EP for her new Lifetime movie. Filming quietly during her recording sessions, we were able to capture her charm and grace from a distance, never interfering. This is one of our favorite pieces of celebrity content - it’s so intimate.

Filmed in a direct-to camera Errol Morris style, these interviews celebrate how much fans love their Lifetime Movies. To elevate these interviews even more, we shot closeup, on a wide angle lens, giving everyone a high-energy, dynamic feel - which was a subtle, but super fun little twist.

Lifetime came to us with an interesting proposition - can we film a series of interviews with real moms and their kids? The answer - absolutely. Filmed in our studio, we interviewed families from across NYC. We shot numerous spots, but this one with Tamra is the best. We’re proud Promax acknowledged it with a Hot Spot.

Filmed at the historic Langston Hughes house, Kim Fields was (no surprise) charming to work with. With only an hour to setup, we filmed upstairs in an abandoned room. With some holiday decorations quickly placed in frame, this shoot sprung to life. Holiday spots are important to Lifetime, so it’s always crucial to be quick on your feet on these campaigns.

Filmed with 50+ Broadway Stars over three days, this marathon project is one of our faves. Starring icons like Chita Rivera, Bebe Neuwirth, Anthony Rapp, Brian Stokes Mitchel, Derek Klena, Christy Altomare, Orfeh and many more - this amazing project is one we’ll never forget.

The A&E team are wonderful to collaborate with, and this spot is no exception. We turned our studio into a set that looks like a “Christmas Green Room”. We shot all iPad content practically (ie in camera), avoiding VFX. And our lush “golden” color grade gives this spot a warmth that really dials up the seasonal charm.

We’ll never forget this shoot, simply because we’re given 90mins to show up. Leah wanted to respond immediately to the Church of Scientology, and needed a crew sent to her hotel ASAP. We answered the call, and helped her and A&E craft a message that made air that evening.

Shot with only 48hrs to prep, we created this living room set in the entry way of a studio - a feat in and of itself. Wendy Williams was great to work with. And this gag of her watching LMN movies coming to life was a blast to film.

This commercial campaign for North American Power was shot entirely on location upstate. Blessed with a funny concept and excellent actors, our job was to make sure the shots elevated the humor.

Filmed on wider prime lenses (24, 28, and 35), the distorted FOV helps push the comedy. We also filmed on vintage lenses from the 70s, giving the shots a wonderfully nostalgic, John Hughes vibe.

This viral campaign for "America's War on Drugs" recreats the iconic Anti Drug PSA's from the 80's, but adds a modern twist to them.

Re-shooting these spots accruately was a massive undertaking, but one audiences clearly appreciated: the campaign was a viral hit, helping lift awareness for this critically acclaimed docu-series.

On short notice, we took our team to a vast hunting farm 100 miles south of NYC. There, lost in the woods, we brought out all the toys: RED cameras, gimbals, stabilized jib arms, and drones - lots of drones.

Filmed on vintage lenses at magic hour, the end result is (yes) magical. Automotive campaigns are always a great place to try new, bold things.

We teamed up with History Channel to give this tabletop campaign a stunning look. Shot primarily on macro lenses, we were deeply inspired by the tone and feel of Requiem for a Dream.

Our color treatment added extra grit and film emulsion textures, giving the images extra punch.

We rarely get a chance to showcase our work at NAB, and we leapt at the chance. Shot on a RED Monstro, this campaign promotes Offhollywood’s latest RED camera accessories.

Shot tilt-shifted on Hasselblad lenses, these gorgeous spots were featured on massive screens at the heart of NAB, something we’re very proud of.

David Kane has lived a long and inspiring life, and today his main goal is to keep inspiring and live to 100. His story lays the foundation for a pilot for PBS and John Hancock titled “Gray Maters”, a series focusing on what our elders can teach younger Americans.

Shot on location in Norman, Oklahoma, we filmed Mark and his crew of sculptors with every tool we could find: RED cameras, vintage lenses, fisheyes, tilt shifts, and more. Every year during March Madness, truTV launches an experimental campaign where they clap back at online trolls who vent about watching games on their channel. It’s an incredibly modern way to build a network’s persona.

We’ve been on this campaign for several years, and love every second of it. Promax has given it lots of love, too.

Shot in our studio, this charming long-form show with SYFY Wire was a huge success - and already has almost 400K views. Shot in a single day, the art direction, camera angles, and coverage all came together to give SYFY Wire the material they needed to cut an entire show.

This was a wonderful, spontaneous shoot. truTV called in a panic and asked if we could film Chris Gethard the next day, in their offices?

With Alyssa MIlano unavailable due to pregnancy, we shot a VFX driven a campaign with the fantastic models of Project Runway All Stars. 

Filmed on green-screen on a keyable treadmill, this VFX heavy spot features almost a dozen models. The end result is a breathtaking combination of fashion and graphic design.

Filmed in upstate New York by a creek, we asked our best art team to do the impossible - turn this frozen farm into a Florida swamp.

A love letter to Shelby, a beloved character on History Channel who’s earned his own show, we weaved his unique personality and language into every spot.

We also pulled off a second miracle: we created a mud snowman, something History Channel really wanted to see.

The Impractical Jokers are amazing to work with. We shot over 25 :30 spots with them in under an hour, which is a record for us.

The Jokers were also a breeze to work with. They ordered Katz’s Deli for lunch, and then got down to work.

Filmed at the historic Downtown Association, we created a lush, cinematic look for this piece about the movie Pawn Sacrifice.

Shot on vintage tilt shift lenses, we bent and shaped the image to further enhance our story. Historian David Eisenbach elevates everything he’s in.

The High Maintenance creators and producers have offices in our building, so it was only a matter of time before they worked with us.

For this BTS shoot, the HBO creative team really wanted to dial in a psychedelic tie-die look that leans heavily on purples and pinks. We made that happen with a custom backdrop, and creative use of RGB LEDs.

Filmed in historic Grand Central Station, it was fun to partner with DJI on this product launch.

Armed with backstage passes, and access to all VIP attendees, we were able to capture all the key moments for DJI. With multiple crews covering all the action, we left no stone unturned.

This Visa campaign was unique. For two days we followed three lucky couples from Singapore as they enjoyed an all expenses paid trip to NYC - courtesy of Visa DBS.

From high-end boat rides, to historic tours, to a deluxe dinner at the home of a famous chef, we spent a memorable couple of days with these lucky winners.

Pete the Cat is an adorable cartoon on Amazon featuring Elvis Costello and Diana Krall. We had the privilege of filming this legendary musical couple’s first duet ever, a history making thrill. The setting - a legendary studio in NYC - was icing on the cake.

This campaign on American celebrity is one of our faves. Shot in our studio, there was ample time for each interview to dig deep into the nuances of American stardom, especially during the 50’s and 60’s. We’re in an age of nostalgia, and stepping back in time feels like the most modern thing to do.
